The SamBoat adventure began with the meeting of Nicolas and Laurent, both of whom are passionate about boating and the field of collaborative consumption. Together, they identified an issue: a recreational boat is often underused and expensive for its owner, while many people would like to go out to sea but do not own a boat. SamBoat was born in April 2014 with the objective of popularizing boating by connecting owners and renters in complete confidence. Today's date, Samboat is now the n°1 peer to peer boat rental in France and is currently expanding in Europe. The objective is to become the leading website in Europe by making boating accessible. In a few numbers, Samboat is : - More than 26,000 boats available - Up to 40% cheaper than "traditionnal" renting - More than 200,000 customers in 2018
